Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before choosing the ArticPups™ Reversible Cooling Mat.
How does the Reversible Cooling Mat work?
The Reversible Cooling Mat provides a soft and comfortable resting surface designed for everyday use during warm days. Its double-sided design makes it practical for home, yard, car, or travel use.
Is the mat reversible?
Yes. The mat is designed with a double-sided construction, making it easy to use in different places where your dog loves to relax. It works well as a rest mat for home, sofa, crate, car, or shaded outdoor spaces.
Does this mat cool like a gel mat?
This mat is mainly designed to provide cool comfort, a breathable resting surface, and everyday practicality. If you want a stronger cool-touch feel, we recommend our ArticPups™ Ice-Silk Cooling Gel Mat, which includes an inner cooling gel layer.
Why do dogs and cats love this mat?
During warm weather, many pets naturally look for more comfortable and cooler-feeling surfaces to rest on. The Reversible Cooling Mat gives them a dedicated spot to relax, rest, and recover after walks, playtime, or outdoor activity.
Can cats use it too?
Yes. The mat is suitable for both dogs and cats. It can be used as a soft and practical resting surface for everyday comfort, especially during warmer days.
Can the mat be used all year round?
Yes. While it is ideal for summer, the Reversible Cooling Mat can be used all year as a soft and versatile resting mat. It works well during warm months and as a comfortable everyday rest surface.
Does the mat contain gel or cooling chemicals?
No. This reversible model is not a gel mat. It is designed to provide a soft, practical, and comfortable resting surface for everyday use, without inner gel or liquid cooling substances.
Where can I use it?
You can use it at home, on the floor, sofa, dog bed, crate, in the car, on the patio, in the yard, or in shaded outdoor areas. It is lightweight and easy to move where needed.
Is it suitable for all breeds and sizes?
Yes. Multiple sizes are available, so you can choose the best fit for your dog or cat. We recommend checking the size guide and choosing a size that lets your pet stretch out comfortably.
Can it help older pets?
Many pet owners use the mat to give senior dogs and cats a more comfortable place to rest. The soft surface can help create a dedicated space for naps, rest, and everyday relaxation.
How do I clean the Reversible Cooling Mat?
We recommend wiping the surface with a damp cloth or gently hand washing it when needed. Let it fully air dry before reusing or storing it.
Is it bite-proof or scratch-proof?
The mat is designed for rest and comfort, not as a chew toy. For longer durability, keep it away from heavy chewing, sharp objects, and very sharp nails.
What is the difference from the Ice-Silk Cooling Gel Mat?
The Reversible Cooling Mat is a practical, soft, double-sided mat for everyday comfort. The Ice-Silk Cooling Gel Mat is a more premium version with a cool-touch ice-silk surface and an inner cooling gel layer.
Is shipping tracked?
Yes. Every order includes tracking information so you can follow your package from dispatch to delivery.
